Montpellier have confirmed Arsenal are close to signing Olivier Giroud.
The Gunners are finalising terms over a £12 million deal for Giroud.
“Discussions are happening and going well, as part of the (release) clause set. Things are moving serenely,” Montpellier’s deputy president Laurent Nicollin told Midi Libre.
