Cardiff City have undertaken a major rebranding exercise that has been the Bluebirds change their 2012/13 home kit colour to red. The colour change was proposed a few weeks ago and had met with much opposition but the owners have gone ahead with the switch and revealed a new home 2012/2013 jersey. The away kit will be blue in colour.
Cardiff have also opted for a change to their badge.
Malaysia will be sponsoring the 2012/2013 Cardiff City jerseys. The Welsh club will be hoping to emulate Swansea City and win promotion to the 2013-14 edition of the Premier League after falling short at the playoff stage last season. They lost to WHUFC in the playoff semis
