Iker Casillas (Real Madrid & Spain)
Iker Casillas has definitely got to be THE BEST GOALKEEPER in the world. Playing for one of the biggest club in the world, Real Madrid, the 31 year old Spaniard rose to prominence at the tender age of 18 and has been the first choice goalkeeper ever since.
The 5ft 11in goalkeeper is also the captain of the Spanish national team and recently won the Euro 2012 held in Poland and Ukraine. Casillas has won numerous titles throughout his career, including the La Liga, Copa del Rey, Supercopa de Espana, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and the Intercontinental Cup.
Casillas has also won the World Cup (2008) and the European Championship (2008 & 2012) with Spain. With all these accolades and only age 31, Casillas has a long way to go and is definitely the best goalkeeper in the world.
Since 2009, Casillas has been in a relationship with sports journalist Sara Carbonero.
