Newcastle United have been unable to agree a fee with FC Twente for striker Luuk de Jong and are now reportedly looking at other targets.
The Magpies sent a delegation led by managing director Derek Llambias to Holland last weekend.
They made a firm offer of €12million but FC Twente have stood firm over their valuation of De Jong – which is believed to be in excess of €15million.
