“He came through his first proper training session yesterday and feels pretty comfortable with the cast we have had made for him.”

English Premier League - Full of surprises

The English Premier League has been full of surprises and thrill, as witnessed in the final game where Manchester United pipped Manchester City in the final moments to clinch the Barclay's English Premier League title. Placing bets gets tougher unless you have a guide or a sportsbook reviewer to help you make informed decision and placing bets.

It seems that a year doesn't go by that a sportsbook doesn't shut down or leaving a certain market. Because of the volatility in the market, it more necessary today than every to find a sportsbook that has survived these trying times. The sportsbook review needs to be unbiased as clients need to get the honest views about sports betting sites. It needs in depth experience and acute analysis to bring the true picture of betting sites and help you in placing smart bets.

There are sportsbooks out there that have made themselves a big name. While some of them are still around, it was that bias that also brought quite a few down over the last few years. Sportsbook review makes you understand that there is no room for bias in today’s betting industry; biased views are what get sportsbooks in trouble.

Viktorija Vojakovac FC's beautiful coach: Tihana Nemcic

he 24-year-old Nemcic will coach Croatian fifth division side NK Viktorija Vojakovac.

“I am the head coach and I have full liberty to create and plan the team’s tactics,” she told daily 24 sata (24 hours).

“The guys know the game, but there is a lot more to do,” added Nemcic, who has played for ten years for Dinamo Zagreb’s women’s team and the national squad.

Nemcic said that there was no reason why eyebrows should be raised in her getting the job.

“If a woman and a man have the same professional qualifications for a coaching job, I see no reason why I should not get into male football,” she said.

In 2008, Nemcic, a long-haired blonde, was among 15 finalists for Croatia’s Miss Sport. She said her players “listen to me and make no problems.”

“We are a great team and we all want to improve and reach the top of our league,” she said.

It was claimed yesterday that Barca already had a deal in place with Santos for the 20 year old Brazilian international winger.
“The president is in Europe, we talk every day and if I have any questions I’d tell him. Nothing’s happened. We have received proposals and enquiries.
“It’s not news, because Neymar already has been the subject of offers several times and he is still with Santos,” Odilio Rodigues.

Sergio Busquets has paid tribute to Barcelona coach Tito Vilanova.
The Spanish international midfielder is happy to play for Vilanova after working with the coach for Barca B.
“It is important to trust your coach” he said.
“And I always have done, both now and before, even though I never feel like an automatic first choice player. That depends on your performances and if you don’t work hard you don’t play,” said Busquets.

Interesting transfer news are out claiming that Galatasaray president Aysal Unal has revealed that the club will make a January bid for Real Madrid outcast Kaka.

“If we can overcome the group stage of the Champions League, we’ll aspire to engage Kaka, who represents a real icing on the cake for us.
“Of course we cannot yet rely on this possibility, but Kaka would be good with us, I’d like to see him wear our jersey,” said Unal.

Reports are out claiming that Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos has declared that he is not interested in joining the Premier League.
The Spanish international defender was linked with Chelsea and Manchester City last week after his row with coach Jose Mourinho.

Thierry joined the club when he was 22 and I want to become an Arsenal legend like him, playing up front as well, which is a big factor for me.
“I’ve played on the right wing and had the opportunity to play up front a bit more so I think it’s about time.”

The former Everton midfielder is happy to play in a deeper position if doing so helps the team.
The Spaniard told Arsenal Player : “It is a big transition but it is more a mental thing. The boss is convinced that is the best thing for the team and I am too, so let’s do it,”.
“If it works, and in games like that where you probably think you need a more physical presence but you still create and are able to match the physical ability and the way they play, it reinforces your belief. I am totally happy that is a good way to play.”

“Sometimes when you don’t manage to take advantage of the moment you always risk that a counter-attack will hand you a defeat.
“We believe in what we’re doing and we’re not going to throw everything away because of one painful defeat that hurts both our fans and us.”

Branislav Ivanovic has declared that he is happy to play at right-back for Chelsea.
According to critics, the 28 year old Serbian international is more effective at centre-half.
However the former Lokomotiv Moscow star says: “It’s a different challenge playing right back and centre back. I’ve played for two months at right back and I’m happy.”

Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois who is currently on loan at Atletico Madrid made a huge goalkeeping error against Real Valladolid yesterday.
The 20 year old Belgian international gaffed during victory over Real Valladolid, but was supported by Atleti fans on Twitter.
The on-loan keeper replied: “Many thanks to all the fans who have supported me after my error. It was the support I needed to stop everything after. Thanks.”

Arsene Wenger insists that Arsenal deserved more after drawing 1-1 at Manchester City.
The Arsenal boss felt that they were unfortunate not to get more than a point but took great heart from the performance of his side, who again showed the pre-season doom-mongers may have been overly pessimistic.
The Frenchman said: “I’m pleased because I feel it was the minimum we deserved today. I’m pleased as well with the quality of our performance and our spirit. I’m a bit frustrated because I feel there was room to do more.
“We had early chances and of course very late chances, especially the chance of Gervinho at the edge of the box where we missed the target.
“But overall I hope the game will reinforce our belief, our confidence and reassure us about our potential in this league.”

It has been revealed that Patrice Evra was thrilled with Manchester United’s victory at Liverpool.
The French international fullback felt respect was the key word in difficult circumstances on Merseyside as tributes were paid to the 96 fans who tragically lost their lives at Hillsborough.
“It’s unbelievable,” he enthused to MUTV.
“To be fair, I always say one of the best sensations is when we win at Anfield.
“We’ve been coming here for four years [almost five years], a long time and I’ve not been seeing a dressing room like that with smiles on the faces after the game. I want to win against Liverpool. If I play badly or play well, I just want to win and that is what we did.”

Ryan Giggs has admitted that their 2-1 victory at Liverpool was a battle.
Brazilian defender Rafael equalised Steven Gerrard’s opener with a perfectly-placed curler before Robin van Persie kept his nerve to score the winner from the spot.
The 38 year old told Sky Sports : “I think, in the last three or four years, we’ve come here and played a lot better and lost,”.
“That’s the way it goes sometimes.
“It’s always tough, especially against a team like Liverpool who keep the ball well, even when they go down to 10 men, they don’t change. The crowd got up and we didn’t play well. We didn’t keep the ball well enough. It was great to see Rafa’s goal go in and it probably lifted us.
“I think it’s a tough place to come. Obviously, Liverpool wanted to put on a performance because of the occasion and they did that. I think Liverpool made it tough for us but we could have played better.”

Real Mallorca’s fantastic start to the Primera Division season continued as they secured a 2-0 victory over Valencia.
Victor Casadesus fired the hosts into the lead after only seven minutes when his shot squeezed under Diego Alves, but the visitors went onto enjoy more of the ball for the rest of the half and were unlucky not to be level when Nelson Valdez’s header came crashing back off the underside of the bar.
Despite continued pressure from Valencia, Mallorca extended their lead on 55 minutes as Javier Arizmendi collected a Victor flick-on with his first touch before dispatching a volley low past Alves.
The victory continues the islanders’ unbeaten start to the season and their 100 per cent record at home but this was far from a straightforward win as Valencia dominated in almost every area bar the scoreline.

Atletico Madrid recorded their fifth consecutive win with a 2-1 victory over Real Valladolid at the Vicente Calderon, although they were made to work hard for the points by the newly promoted side.
Diego Godin opened the scoring for the hosts on the half hour as he exchanged passes with Koke before lifting the ball calmly over Jaime, and Radamel Falcao continued his fantastic form by slotting home a penalty a minute before the break.
However the visitors were gifted a way back into the game when Thibaut Courtois fumbled Alberto Bueno’s weak effort into his own net, and the Europa League holders were grateful for the final whistle as Valladolid piled on the pressure towards the end.

BASTIA vs PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN 0-4 Jeremy Menez Zlatan Ibrahimovic Blaise Matuidi goal video

Sunday, September 23, 2012

Paris St Germain’s resurgence continued apace this afternoon as the big-spending capital club swept aside Bastia in a one-sided encounter at Stade Armand Cesari.
After opening the Ligue 1 season with three straight draws, PSG have now won three on the spin to muscle their way into the top three.
A brace by Zlatan Ibrahimovic allied to efforts by Jeremy Menez and Blaise Matuidi secured all the points for Carlo Ancelotti’s men, as promoted Bastia slipped to their fourth league defeat on the trot.
Bastia have failed to score in their last three defeats while conceding 10 goals, and the back-to-back wins that opened their campaign last month must seem a distant memory for coach Frederic Hantz.
