Park Ji-sung has revealed that he accepts losing the QPR captaincy.
The 31 year old midfielder made his first start in nearly three months in the FA Cup draw with West Brom — although it was Clint Hill leading the team out.
However former Manchester United midfielder Park’s only aim is keeping them in the top flight.
He said: “I respect the manager’s decision and I don’t really care about that.
“I am an experienced player so I can help the team with or without the armband.”
Park has recovered from a knee injury and the 31-year-old added: “I’m happy to be back playing again.
“Last week we won against Chelsea and we had to keep our momentum and not lose the game.
“After the game I had no pain so I am really happy.”
