Interesting transfer news are out claiming that Spanish giants Barcelona are threatening Manchester City plans for Malaga coach Manuel Pellegrini.

The 59 year old Chilean will leave Malaga at the end of the season, though no deal with City has yet been rubberstamped.
Marca claims that Barca have been testing the water for potential replacements for Tito Vilanova after he confirmed he would be returning to New York this summer for more treatment.
Barca’s first-choice is to continue with Vilanova, but are covering all bases, which includes making contact with Pellegrini’s camp about a potential move for next season.
