Sensational transfer news are out claiming that PSG are planning a £21.5 million bid for Chelsea defender David Luiz.

The Daily Star reported that the French giants will soon announce Fabio Capello as their new boss.
And they could follow that with another big addition in Luiz if they beat Barcelona in the race to sign him.
PSG owner Nasser Al-Khelaifi is understood to be keen to give Capello all the backing he wants.
Luiz, who is currently on international duty with Brazil, is a man that interests Capello as he goes about the stiff task of fending off a title challenge from Monaco.

Reports are out claiming that Tottenham are set to clinch a deal for Corinthians midfielder Paulinho.

The Daily Mail reported that the Premier League club have agreed a £17million deal to bring Brazilian midfielder Paulinho to White Hart Lane, his club Corinthians have confirmed.
The 24-year-old will be Andre Villas-Boas’ first signing of the summer as he looks to mount a challenge on the top four of the Premier League once again.
Real Madrid, Inter Milan and Roma are also interested in the 15-cap international, but Spurs look to have beaten them to the signature.

It has been confirmed that Liverpool have completed the signing of Spain youth international Luis Alberto from Sevilla.

It is said that the 20-year-old has signed a long-term contract with the Anfield club after passing a medical, with the deal still subject to international clearance.
Alberto, capped at several levels of youth football by Spain, spent last season on loan with Barcelona B, where he scored 11 goals and collected 17 assists in 38 appearances.
“We are all delighted that Luis has decided to join Liverpool,” Reds manager Brendan Rodgers said. “He has the correct footballing profile and mentality to be a Liverpool player.
“I look forward to working with him to develop his talent and he joins a group of young exciting players at our club.”

Interesting transfer news are out claiming that Chelsea are chasing St Etienne defender Kurt Zouma.

The Daily Mail revealed that the 18-year-old France Under 20 international, who was an unused substitute against Ghana as the age group World Cup got underway on Friday, is powerfully built and stands at 6ft 2in tall, leading to comparisons with Marcel Desailly.
His club believe they can get around £10million for the player, with a host of clubs from across Europe, including Atletico Madrid keen.
Chelsea are boosted by the fact his agent has suggested Zouma would prefer a move to England, however adding: “If Kurt stays with St Etienne next season, he will continue to grow. He doesn’t have any fierce desire to leave.”

Interesting transfer news are out claiming that Chelsea are eyeing Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko.

The Daily Star reported that Jose Mourinho has always wanted a strong, muscular hitman in his team, having huge success with Didier Drogba.
Dzeko, the Manchester City hitman, is an option, though new manager Manuel Pellegrini is eager to keep the Bosnian.

It has been reported that Tottenham fancy a bid for AS Roma winger Erik Lamela.

The Telegraph revealed that Spurs will continue to go South American as they wrap up a deal for Corinthians midfielder Paulinho.
Spurs have other targets and have considered making moves for another Brazilian, Bernard, who plays for Atletico Mineiro as well as the Argentinian forward Erik Lamela, who has had a strong season at Roma, the former club of Spurs’ new technical director, Franco Baldini.

It has been reported that Real Madrid are confident that they have beaten Manchester City for Malaga winger Isco.

The Daily Mail claims that the Spanish giants say they have had a £25million bid for Isco accepted by Malaga leaving the player to now decide his fate this weekend.
Isco had previously favoured a move to Manchester City where the man he has described as his ‘footballing father’ Manuel Pellegrini is the new coach.
Madrid’s agreement with Malaga means nothing without agreement with the player who is torn between joining his close pal David Silva and his former coach in Manchester, and joining Spain’s biggest club.

The club director of Corinthians, Duilio Monteiro Alves has confirmed that Premier League club Tottenham are interested in midfielder Paulinho.

The 24-year old Brazilian international has attracted attention from plenty of clubs over the past few years but Monteiro Alves says there is definite interest from Spurs with the North Londoners expected to make a move this summer.
Monteiro Alves told UOL : “In the last two years and the last four transfer windows there were offers, so imagine now?”.
“It won’t be any different, especially considering his performances for Corinthians in the last year and now in the Confederations Cup.
“We know Tottenham have an interest, but nothing official yet. We are waiting for the next few days to talk about official and concrete facts.
“There were not offers, but we are waiting. Of course offers will come, especially as non-official offers have come from some clubs.
“We believe something will come within the next few days, but we will try to keep him.”

It has been revealed that Juventus are interested in Sassuolo striker Domenico Berardi.

The 18 year old Italian striker has been linked with Juve for much of the year.
Sassuolo sporting director Nereo Bonato told Tuttosport : “Juventus are the side who are closest to him right now,”.
“However, at this moment in time, they are working on other transfer matters. We’ll see where we are at the start of July.”

Interesting transfer news are out claiming that Real Madrid are eyeing Borussia Dortmund midfielder Ilkay Gundogan.

TMW revealed that Real president Florentino Perez wants to make the German international midfielder the first signing of the Carlo Ancelotti era.
It is said that the Spanish giants are willing to offer €14 million for the 22 year old, whose representative are in advanced talks with Real over personal terms.

This is a rather funny video of what would happen if Brazilian mixed martial artist Anderson Silva chose football over UFC.

In the video the mixed martial arts fighter kicks and tackles his opponents and ends up getting a slap from Brazilian legend Pele.
Check it out.

Corinthians director Duilio Monteiro Alves has cooled talk of moving for Real Madrid midfielder Kaka.

Monteiro Alves has brushed off the rumours.
Monteiro Alves told Gazeta Press : “There is nothing, it’s just speculation,”.
“I don’t know where that story came from, but it didn’t start at Corinthians.
“He is an excellent player, no doubt about that, but we haven’t even talked about him.”

It has been revealed that Luis Suarez has indicated that Liverpool will listen to offers from Real Madrid regarding his services.

The Uruguay international striker hinted that he may require a change in clubs this summer and added that it is a childhood dream for him to play for one of Spain’s top two clubs.
“First I have a contract with the club, but if one day I want to sign (for another club), Liverpool will hear the offer, as it does with other players,” he told El Pais.
“They must agree with other teams, but the word of the player, in this case mine, is important. If you need a change, you should listen to the player.
“Every player aspires (to be the best) and if you ask a child of eight years they would say one day they would go to Real Madrid or Barcelona.”

It has been revealed that Lionel Messi could avoid prison over alleged tax fraud by coughing up £20 MILLION to Spanish authorities.

The Sun reports that the Barcelona star and his dad Jorge are being investigated for an alleged £3.4million tax fraud in Spain between 2007 and 2009.
If convicted, the Argentinian could face up to SIX YEARS in jail or be ordered to pay fines of up to six times the amount allegedly defrauded.
Messi has strongly denied doing anything wrong.
Tax expert José María Mollinedo said: “If the player pays and admits his involvement, he could obtain a reduction in the minimum punishment, because of which he would not have to go to prison.”

Swansea City midfielder Michu believes the Premier League is of higher standard than Spain’s La Liga.

The Spaniard joined the Swans from Rayo Vallecano last summer, scoring 22 goals in his debut season in England, and suggests more players from Spain’s top flight will head over to England soon.
The 27 year old said in The Sun : “The Premier League is superior in all aspects,”.
“The structure, the fans, the competitiveness and, most of all, the economic power.
“Any English club can now buy a Spanish player of any team except (Real) Madrid or Barca.
“The Spanish market is very good value for money.
“And the success of the talented little players like Juan Mata, David Silva and Santi Cazorla has proved a phenomenon in England.”
He added: “The English league is much more competitive than it is in Spain.
“Here you can win at any ground. In Spain it is impossible to go to the Nou Camp or the Bernabeu and expect to succeed.
“The passion of fans in England is fantastic. Your supporters follow you to all your away games.
“And because of the way it is organised, they can also plan their trips for the whole season.”

Interesting transfer news are out claiming that Chelsea are ready to launch a bid for Borussia Dortmund striker Robert Lewandowski.

The London Evening Standard claims that Jose Mourinho is considering a move for Borussia Dortmund striker Lewandowski, who was told recently that he will not be allowed to join Bayern Munich this summer.
Mourinho is turning to the Pole as Napoli striker Edinson Cavani now warms to a move to Real Madrid.
Chelsea and Manchester United have previously been linked with the 23-year-old, who is valued at around £25million.

Reports are out claiming that Manchester City are eyeing Lazio defender Stefan Radu.

The Daily Mail
reported that the cash rich Premier League club have made an enquiry for Romania defender Radu at Lazio.
The 26-year-old can play at left-back or centre-back and has been on City’s radar for the past year.
He is valued at around £15million by the Italians and City would look to offer around £12m.

It has been revealed that Liverpool have agreed a deal in principal to sign Celta Vigo forward Iago Aspas.

It is said that the £7.7million transfer will be finalised once the necessary documentation has been completed.
The 25-year-old becomes manager Brendan Rodgers’ second signing of the summer, having already brought in Manchester City centre-back Kolo Toure on a free transfer.
Liverpool have been tracking the Spaniard for some time and the move has been in the pipeline for the last few weeks.
Celta Vigo’s successful fight against relegation from the Primera Division on the final day of the season earlier this month held up progress.
Once their future was secured the Reds were able to advance the deal, although it took slightly longer than expected because of complications at the Spanish end.
Aspas, who scored 12 goals in 34 league appearances last season, was on Merseyside earlier this week for a medical and once that was completed it was just a question of ironing out some red tape issues with Celta.

Reports are out claiming that Barcelona are interested in Arsenal defender Laurent Koscielny.

The Sun revealed that the Spanish giants have joined the race to sign defender Koscielny from Arsenal.
It is said that Barca have made an enquiry about the £20million-rated Frenchman, who is also a target for Bayern Munich.

It has been reported that Malaga winger Isco has admitted that he is considering offers from Manchester City and Real Madrid.

The Spanish international is happy to consider City, but Real are set to join the battle for his signature – which has seemingly given the 21-year-old something to think about.
“My future nobody knows. Pellegrini is my footballing father, who gives me confidence – so you have to think about [Manchester] City and look at it,” he told AS.
“And Madrid? There is that, so we see what happens.”

It has been reported that Juventus midfielder Claudio Marchisio is happy to be linked with Manchester United.

The 27-year-old Italian international insists that he is unsure where his future lies, although he is flattered by talk of a potential move to Manchester.
Marchisio told Gazzetta dello Sport : “There are things to be proud of, but I am not sure if they are true,”.
“I have not heard from anyone at Manchester United or Monaco.
“When I talk with my club everything will become clearer.”

Luka Modric believes Gareth Bale is an ideal player for Real Madrid.

The Croation international told Marca: “It is a complicated issue for me because I was at Tottenham with him. I can tell you that we’re friends and that he is an exceptional player.
“A club like Real Madrid, Tottenham or anyone else can only benefit from having a player like that.
“If he signs or not is a matter for the clubs, but if he ends up at Real Madrid that can only be good for us.
“As Real Madrid is a team of stars, Bale would fit perfectly. He would give us a different dimension. He can shoot, has strength and speed and is the type of player who could help us take a step forward.”

Argentina captain Javier Mascherano after he was sent off for kicking the driver of a medical cart in a World Cup qualifier against Ecuador.

The Barcelona midfielder was shown a red card by Paraguayan referee Enrique Caceres with four minutes to go in Quito after the player lost his temper with the driver who he thought was going too fast in transporting him off the pitch injured.
Mascherano had to be calmed down by Argentina’s support staff as he climbed off the cart when it stopped at the side of the pitch amid angry scenes involving players from both teams.

It has been revealed that Zenit St Petersburg striker Hulk is eager to hold talks with Chelsea.

The Daily Mail reported that the Brazilian international wants a move to Stamford Bridge but has asked for negotiations to be postponed until after the Confederations Cup.
The 26-year-old striker is on international duty with Brazil.
He is also wanted by Monaco but wants his club Zenit St Petersburg to accept Chelsea’s £34.9million offer.

It has been reported that Manchester United face Bayern Munich competition for Barcelona midfielder Thiago Alcantara.

The Spanish international is a £15 million target for United boss David Moyes.
A lack of first-team action has led Thiago to explore options of a possible move away from the Camp Nou.
And the Daily Express says former manager Pep Guardiola is hoping to take advantage and bring the Spanish under-21 international with him to Bayern.

Summer transfer window: five players likely to make big moves

Thursday, June 13, 2013

The new season might seem like an age away, but the world’s biggest clubs are already preparing to sign a few new faces well before the transfer deadline on September 1st. As is the case every summer, a select number of players are linked with multimillion Pound moves to the biggest and richest teams on the planet. To give you an idea of who might be moving, here are five top transfer targets:

Luis Suarez, Liverpool to?

The controversial Uruguayan might have plenty of baggage, but the fact that he has bagged so many goals in his time at Anfield should make him an attractive target for big clubs who, unlike Liverpool, are actually punching their weight. Liverpool want 50 Million for Suarez and a move to Bayern Munich has been mooted, although Atletico Madrid are looking to replace Falcao, and £30m should take him to the Vicente Calderon.

Robert Lewandowski, Borussia Dortmund to?

It was thought that the Polish ace, after enjoying two phenomenal seasons for the Champions League finalists, would follow team-mate Mario Gotze in moving to Bayern. However, it seems like that move has stalled. Manchester United could be the most likely destination, and the chance to play alongside Robin van Persie should appeal to him.

Victor Wanyama, Celtic to?

In a Celtic side which has dominated domestically in third gear, the Kenya midfielder’s passing and combative nature has caught the eye of Premier League sides looking for a bit of solidity in the middle of the park. Arsenal are likely to sign him, with a price tag of around £10m-£12m being sufficient, especially as he’s what they need.

Julian Draxler, Schalke to?

One of a seemingly never-ending line of exciting German midfielders, Draxler looks like he could be a world-beater in years to come. He will already command a hefty asking price upwards of £20m, but that shouldn’t put the likes of Real Madrid, Arsenal and Chelsea off signing him.

Edinson Cavani, Napoli to?

He’s got Champions League football to look forward to should he stay, but Cavani looks like moving to one of Europe’s footballing superpowers. Chelsea, emboldened by the return of Jose Mourinho as manager are favourites for his signature, but Real Madrid have emerged as contenders. Napoli look to be planning for his departure by lining up Alvaro Negredo from Sevilla as a replacement.
