CALUM CHAMBERS TO ARSENAL

It has been reported that Southampton are resigned to selling Calum Chambers to Arsenal in the coming days.

The Daily Echo, with close ties to St Mary’s, says discussions are believed to have taken place between the clubs, although the Gunners are yet to formalise their offer for the 19-year-old.
Saints have agreed to enter into the talks as the sum of money being spoken about represents a huge amount for a teenager who has just one season of first-team football under his belt.
The club also have Nathaniel Clyne in place, with the two players having split time almost equally at right-back last term.
Southampton are expected to push Arsenal to meet their £16 million valuation before selling Chambers.

ARSENAL TO DISCUSS MARIO BALOTELLI SWAP DEAL

It has been reported that Arsenal are willing to offer Joel Campbell to AC Milan for Mario Balotelli.

The Daily Star reported that the Gunners could be set to land AC Milan striker Balotelli this summer with Costa Rica ace Campbell going the other way in a sensational cash plus player switch.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is on the lookout for a forward as he looks to strengthen his squad ahead of the new season.
Reports indicate that Milan are willing to sell the former Inter Milan ace to the Gunners for just £8m, providing Campbell is included in the deal.
San Siro chief Filippo Inzaghi is thought to be keen on selling Balotelli this summer as he looks to free up funds to remodel his new side.

ARSENE WENGER PLEASED WITH ARSENAL’S SIGNINGS

It has been reported that Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is delighted with their summer market work.

Nice goalkeeper David Ospina is set to join Alexis Sanchez and Mathieu Debuchy as Gunners signings.

The Freench tactician agreed that Arsenal were looking to repeat the success they have enjoyed in the past.

“That’s what our target is but still I think we have been very consistent,” he said.

“It was a very different period because we built a new stadium and had to pay it back. We survived at the top level but we want more.

“We are now on an even ground with the other clubs than we were five or six years ago.”

FREDDIE LJUNGBERG JOINS INDIAN SUPER LEAGUE

Arsenal icon Freddie Ljungberg has signed a short-term deal with the Indian Super League.

The 37-year old Swede has come out of retirement to join the inaugural ISL competition for three months in September this year.
Ljungberg, who retired while with Shimizu S-Pulse in 2012, says it is a good opportunity to help grow the game in Asia.

SAMI KHEDIRA’S ARSENAL MOVE STALLING

Tuesday, July 15, 2014

Reports are out claiming that Arsenal’s move for Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira is stalling over personal terms.

The Mirror reported that Gunners boss Arsene Wenger wants to make the £23.5million Germany superstar his second major signing of the window following the £33m capture of Alexis Sanchez last week.
But, even though Khedira has just a year left on his contract at Real Madrid, the Gunners are not willing to be held to ransom by his demands for £150,000-a-week before bonuses.
The salary would lift the 27-year-old – who has so far rejected a new deal at the European champions – above the likes of Sanchez and Mesut Ozil, both of whom are on around £130,000-a-week.

Germany will take on Argentina on Sunday in the World Cup final, and they’ll probably be favourites, especially when one sees the way they dismantled the Albicelestes in the 2010 World Cup quarterfinal. The game was played on July 3, 2010 at the Green Point Stadium in Cape Town. Maradona coached Argentina went down to an early goal from young Thomas Muller, and the Germans struck thrice in a late second half burst to complete a convincing 4-0 win.

Liverpool’s new 3rd Shirt 2014-2015 Warrior Football

Warrior have made a habit of producing some “outrageous” (probably too kind to say that!) jerseys for Liverpool since taking over as kit partners of the Reds. Last season’s away and third shirts weren’t too popular, and they considerably toned down the away shirt this time.
However they’ve again gone for a bit of experimentation with this third/Champions League shirt that was released today by LFC. Make what you can of this black and red number, and the irregular sash across it! Goalie top has same design
Will LFC fans be “DEMANDING” this kit? Not too sure.

Manchester United New Home Shirt 2014/15

Manchester United have unveiled their new 2014/2015 season home kit, featuring a new sponsor in automobile major Chevrolet. However it is the incorporation of the Chevy logo into the Man Utd jersey that’s caused most consternation among fans, with many expecting manufacturer Nike to have done a better job.
Here are some pics of the new Man U 2014/15 home shirt, with Chevrolet as sponsor
