News Update :

Arsenal Ticket Prices Increase Only If Transfer Spending Increases

Friday, November 21, 2014

The Arsenal Supporters’ Trust says any increase in ticket prices should come with an increase in transfer spending.

The London Evening Standard reported that the club came under fire for announcing a three per cent rise in prices ahead of this season, an increase that is thought to have brought in an extra £3million in revenues.
The Arsenal Supporters’ Trust are fearful of another increase so have taken the unusual step of writing an open letter to the club’s chairman, Sir Chips Keswick, outlining their concerns.

Chief among them is the fear Arsenal’s ticket prices will go up even though Wenger didn’t use all of his transfer kitty during the August window despite bringing in five players including Alexis Sanchez, Calum Chambers and Danny Welbeck for around £80m.
