Chelsea vs Hull 2-0 Highlights 2013 Oscar Lampard free kick missed penalty Goals Video

A blistering opening half hour from Chelsea effectively sealed the points even though Frank Lampard saw a sixth minute penalty saved by Allan McGregor.

It was Oscar who top poked Chelsea in front in the 13th minute but while the Brazilian stuck it in the net, the goal was made in Belgium, with Eden Hazard feeding debutant Kevin De Bruyne, who then slipped in a perfect ball in for Oscar to place past McGregor.
The advantage was doubled by one of the lynchpins of the first Mourinho era as Lampard did better from 35-yards out than from 12, when he scored a superb dipping free-kick in the 25th minute. It was a stunning strike from Lampard even if McGregor should have done better.
It was a stormy and scintillating start from Mourinho’s men but after that it appeared to be a case of job done as Chelsea took their foot off the gas for the remainder of the contest.
