Will Willian live up to Chelsea's expectations?

The £30million striker joined Chelsea from Anzhi Makhachkala after Chelsea hijacked his move to Tottenham.

Chelsea buzzed the transfer market signing top talent over the summer but their most recent acquisition was the major signing of Brazilian play maker, Willian. The 25-year-old star rose to stardom at Ukrainian side Shakhtar Donetsk before moving to Russian big spenders, Anzhi Makhachkala in January. However, the Russian side cleaned home this summer and Chelsea were more than happy to embrace the Brazilian for price of just under £32 million. Willian faces a tough task in dislodging talents such as Eden Hazard, Oscar and Juan Mata from the Chelsea line-up, as well as Andre Schurrle and Kevin De Bruyne.

The Brazilian could potentially see his first action for the Blues this coming weekend with the club traveling to Everton on Saturday as regular season action resumes for the English Premier League, after the break from international duty. With a majority of the club's players sure to be in need of some recovery or additional rest after a week of international qualifiers, his chances of being in the first team are right in line with the rest of his teammates. If Willian makes it to the starting line up, I bet he would score, what do you think, claim your football betting coupon now.
Willian also mentioned that his fellow countrymen at Chelsea, defender, David Luiz in particular, played a catalyst in him agreeing to move to London as his international teammate called to help persuade him to make the change. New Chelsea striker Willian has set himself two targets - to win a place in Jose Mourinho's starting line-up at Stamford Bridge and to play in his home World Cup in Brazil next summer.
