Sunderland vs Manchester United 1-2 Highlights 2013 Adnan Januzaj Gardner goal Video

Adnan Januzaj marked his first Premier League start with a brilliant double as Manchester United came from behind to beat Sunderland 2-1 at the Stadium of Light.

Sunderland got off to the perfect start when Craig Gardner seized on a loose ball in the box after Phil Jones and then Nemanja Vidic made a hash of clearing Emanuele Giaccerini’s cross.
With United rocking, David de Gea pulled off one of the saves of the season, denying Giaccerini’s goalbound header with a stunning one-handed reflex save. Giaccerini spurned another chance ten minutes later
Patrice Evra was a key attacking threat for United throughout and it was his drilled cross that lead to the equaliser. The Frenchman’s pass found Januzaj, whose assured first-time finish finally saw Kieren Westwood beaten.
But Januzaj left the best until last, greeting John O’Shea’s poor defensive header with a beautifully executed volley that arrowed into the bottom corner, relieving some pressure on United boss David Moyes in the process.
