Blast of the Blues

Crystal Palace was unrelenting but brawny Chelsea boys surged high with their six successive victories in the Premier League. The boys in blue have moved to second in Premier League with 2-0 win over Crystal Palace. The current situation makes Chelsea five points behind leaders Liverpool.

Chelsea remained steadfast during the first half in opposition to the implacable Palace and the endurance of the Blues paid off after the break. The unwavering striker, Tammy Abraham broke the deadlock in just six minutes after the interval and registered his eleventh goal of the campaign. He took his league goal tally for the season to ten whereas Christian Pulisic, in-form midfielder, grabbed his fifth in five games. This success of the match was put to seal by Tammy and Pulisic.Embed from Getty ImagesEmbed from Getty Images
Since no victory jewel shines on the crown of Crystal Palace in the preceding three matches, they exhibited such prowess and zeal in the first half that they gave away a good deal of free-kicks around the box but Willian, Emerson and Mason Mount took it in turns to miss the target. Palace gave an alarm of an equalizer for a short time but James Tomkins headed wide from a corner.

Chelsea seems to be all equipped for their upcoming grandiose contest.
