Patrick
Vieira is a French professional football head coach and manager of Nice. Also a
former Arsenal captain, he has lent his support to Granit Xhaka, saying he
deserves respect'. He also opines that Granit Xhaka, who plays as a midfielder
for Premier League club Arsenal and captains the Swiss national team, will be
able to surmount this difficult period and will prove his worth, strength and caliber.
He took up the cudgels for Granit Xhaka.
Granit Xhaka’s
throne was jettisoned, in other words, the formal demission of his function as
the captain. This ripping off captaincy was followed by a squabble with the
fans against Crystal Palace.
Nice head coach
Vieira is condoling with Granit Xhaka whereas manager Unai Emery has propounded
the idea of not letting the player play for the club anew.
Patrick
Vieira feels sorry for Xhaka because the latter is facing a grinding situation and
difficulties have cropped up to Arsenal as well. He also wants us to give a
thought about his achievements so far and especially for the feats of Arsenal brought
about by him which in itself should be a reason to garner respect.
He is of the
view that being a player is a laborious job because at times players fail to
meet the expectations and in turn get afflicted with frustration ending up behaving
in an impertinent way.
Arsenal have removed Xhaka from the captaincy group. Aubameyang is now club captain. A decision that perhaps should have been made at the start of the season, let alone a week ago.— gunnerblog (@gunnerblog) November 5, 2019
